Our history

Lucevii started in 2024 in a small apartment in Aarhus. The idea arose in the kitchen — the room we both used the most, and where things were always visible. Dish towels, dishcloths, tea towels. Why shouldn't they be beautiful?

That question got us started. We began researching materials, and it didn't take long before we landed on linen. A natural material with a history going back thousands of years — and which only gets better with time.

Who is behind it

Lucevii was created by Frederik and Cecilie. Cecilie is responsible for daily operations, product development, and all practical matters. We are not a large company with a big team. We are two people who believe that everyday textiles deserve a little more thought.

Our products

All Lucevii products are made from 100% European linen and handcrafted in the EU. We carefully select our manufacturers and prioritize quality and sustainability over quick fixes.

Our range covers the entire home — from bedding and bathrobes to dish towels, napkins, and coasters. Common to all of them is that they are certified with both OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and European Flax®, so you can be confident in what you bring into your home.

Our values

We believe in durability over consumption. Linen is one of the most environmentally friendly textile materials available, and it lasts for decades when treated properly. It's not a product you buy and throw away — it's something you invest in.

We also believe that beauty and function go hand in hand. A dish towel hanging in your kitchen should be good for drying — and it should look nice while doing it.
